Ingreedies food trail at KERB Camden Market
We ran an Ingreedies half-term food trail with KERB Camden Market, with a competition for kids to design their own street food stall, inspired by some of the stalls they visited. Part of Camden Market Minis free half-term family festival.
Food trail
Our food trail encouraged kids to explore the stories, people and ingredients that make up the amazing array of stalls in KERB Camden Market, serving food from all around the world.
We hid Ingreedies on 9 stalls in the market, each posed a question for the kids to complete on their fact sheets. Here are some photos of the stalls that featured on the trail – thanks to all of them for taking part!
Competition
The food trail helped provide kids ideas for their competition entry, to invent and design their own street food stall. KERB helped us judge all the entries and pick the winner, this fantastic Japanese themed Udon Makie stall created by 9-year-old Sofia. Chris illustrated Sofia’s winning entry as part of her prize, which also included an Ingreedies apron and box of cooking goodies.
A unique and well thought out menu that would be very popular on the market – I drooled over the ‘salmon maki’ and ‘custard pancakes’. Love the Japanese flag as the counter decor!
